Car Rider Information

SHHS Morning and Afternoon Procedures

Morning Procedures:

All car riders will now be dropped off in the band loop. Cars will enter the band loop and turn left to exit. Please be mindful of the buses as they will be exiting this way as well. No cars should turn right out of the band loop. Both A-Hall and B-Hall doors will be locked to help keep the building secured through the morning. Students will enter and may either proceed to breakfast or to the gym. Students will need to stay in whichever area they choose until the bell rings to be released to classes.
Busses will now enter at the front of the campus and continue up the south side of the building to drop off at the Main gym. All bus riders will enter the main gym. If a student wants breakfast they may exit and proceed through the main hall. Any student going to breakfast must stay in breakfast until the bell for release.
No student should enter through the front of the building. A-Hall and B-Hall doors will no longer be open at any point in the morning. Drivers will need to enter through the event entrance through the band loop. Please allow enough time to allow you to reach your classrooms prior to the 7:45 bell. The doors will lock promptly at 7:45 and you will need to enter at the front office as a tardy student.

Afternoon Procedures:

There will be a bell at 2:41 that will release all first run bus riders. No athletes, car riders, drivers, or late bus riders should be released. There will be administrators and SROs stationed at the parking lot entrances. Any student that is found in these areas before the 2:45 bell will face the following consequences:

  • 1st offense - Parking pass removed for a week.
  • 2nd offense - Parking pass removed for 9 weeks.
  • 3rd offense - Parking pass removed for a calendar year

Buses will depart promptly at 2:47. All bus riders need to proceed quickly to their assigned bus. Any person that is caught out of class at the wrong time will face disciplinary action.
